Responsibilities
- Overall Project Management and Project Lead for a team of interdisciplinary specialists to realize large scale carbon capture plants (investment volume >100 Mio €) across Europe
- Supporting concept development of customized and site-specific optimized carbon capture systems
- Development and finalization of tendering documents to procure capture plants and relevant equipment from relevant EPC contractors and equipment suppliers
- Technical implementation of the onsite Carbon Capture plant from concept phase until commissioning including coordination of the complete project team during the erection phase
- Negotiations with EPC and equipment suppliers as well as engineering companies including coordination and project management during planning and implementation phase
- Coordinate permitting activities in concept and implementation phase.
- Budget set up and budget controlling, project management and milestone reporting
Qualifications
- 5+ years of engineering and implementation experience in power or large-scale chemical assets
- Profound knowledge of procurement and tendering procedures
- University Degree or similar in technical or chemical engineering
- Profound professional experience in large scale industrial asset implementation, e.g., with utility, chemical or pharmaceutical producer, oil and gas, engineering or technical consultancy
- Preferably practical experience with carbon capture systems, carbon liquification or similar gas handling and processing systems
- Strong intrinsic motivation and energy, diligence and openness to learn and develop in interdisciplinary teams, openness to legal and commercial topics in project development
- Great communication and negotiation skills, fluency in English
- Enjoy working in an international environment
