Responsibilities
- You acquire new Green Gas supply opportunities in different regions (e.g. Middle East, US and Canada, Central Eastern Europe) and support the development of a well balanced import portfolio matching our customers demand
- You evaluate and assess business opportunities in the area of complex green gas supply projects - with a focus on hydrogen - and their fit into our Green Gas strategy and portfolio
- You successfully drive and negotiate the supply projects from the first contact to the contractual phase including the management of all related functions e.g. Legal, Finance, Pricing and Technology
- You make good use of your international experiences in the context of molecule supply to jointly otimize our supply portfolio
- You develop partnerships and networks to successfully build relationships with our supply partners in the different regions
- You push the Green Gas business development from a holistic perspective, identifying suitable counterparties, investment opportunities and partnerships
Your profile
- You have completed a business, technical or natural science degree
- You have in-depth knowledge and several years of international experience in energy supply business/traded markets especially in the areas of gas, LNG, or other commodities
- You ideally led /acquired supply negotiations in the hydrogen/ gas business and have extensive knowledge of the value chain as well as in hydrogen/ gas logistics
- You take the initiative and actively drive your topics forward by setting the right priorities
- You are an enthusiastic networker and enjoy working together and exchanging ideas with colleagues across country and company boundaries
- You have the experience and standing to negotiate with C-Level stakeholder.
- You have proven negotiation skills and can show a track record of successful business development
- You communicate fluently in English, German proficiency is preferred
