Responsibilities
You advise the organization on relevant funding programs, especially for hydrogen projects, at national and European level, thereby optimizing the use of the funding programs on a permanent basis
You closely collaborate with our sales team and politics/ regulation/ legal/ lobbying colleagues and give recommendations regarding funding options for potential projects
You design, initiate and prepare funding applications for strategically important energy solution projects in accordance with the guidelines of the respective funding programmes, including overall project description, sub-project description, project calculation and milestone plan
You are the sole contact point for the funding authority concerning content topics You confidentially represent the organization in funding project consortia and ensure timely input
You collaborate and exchange with a large number of stakeholders, especially in the public sector, use of your internal and external network and build up strong, trustful relationships
You are in close contact with the technical departments regarding the effects for current projects and requirements on ongoing funding
You implement efficient processes for the acquisition and handling of funding and continuously develop them further
Qualifications
You have in-depth specialist knowledge as well as several years of professional experience in public funding especially advising energy related projects
You can provide evidence of successful funding applications for energy-related projects on European and national level (Horizon 2020, IPCEI, Reallabore der Energiewende, Life (+), EU Innovation Fund, Connecting Europe Facility)
You are an experienced project manager and are not afraid of large numbers You are experienced working on cross country projects
You already have a well-developed energy-political network and have great fun expanding it and building strong relationships
You always have a solution-oriented and pragmatic way of working, which you use to push your projects further
You have a confident and professional demeanor as well as strong communication skills and diplomacy in dealing with your counterpart
You communicate fluently in English, German proficiency is preferred
