We are looking for a Manager of Product Development Cell & Gene Therapy (x|f|d) based in Freiburg, Sartorius CellGenix GmbH. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of the development roadmap for cell culture media, novel proteins and application support together with your team. Your tasks
Interact with sales, marketing and operations to build and execute our product development road map
Represent PD towards external and internal stakeholders
Lead the product development group for cell culture reagents
Define methodology and processes, and set up high performing team to execute the development projects
Plan, review and deliver development projects and allocate team resources according to project priorities
Coach and mentor, your team members and support personal development
Your qualifications
PhD in Science (biology, biochemistry or biotechnology) with a background in cell biology and/or immunology
Previous experience in the biopharmaceutical industry or related field where quality, customer needs, flexibility, and cost effectiveness play a crucial role
Strong knowledge in project management and ability to prioritize team activities across projects in a dynamic matrix setting
Experience in a GMP environment is an advantage
Demonstrated experience working in cell culture media and protein development
Extensive experience in working in a development environment with proven experience in a leadership role and a track record in bringing new products to the market
Profound experience in managing scientific projects
Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English and German
